This Pagani Huayra, a rare find with only 100 units produced, is now up for sale on the secondary market. Following the successful Zonda, this is Pagani’s second supercar, showcasing a similar design aesthetic while also incorporating a Mercedes-sourced V12 engine and leveraging Pagani’s carbon fiber manufacturing expertise.
Although it’s undeniably visually striking, the Pagani Huayra is more than just a beautiful piece of machinery. Underneath its elegant exterior lies a powerful twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG, delivering an impressive 720 horsepower and a remarkable 738 lb-ft of torque. This high-performance V12 car, named after a wind deity, can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds, hitting a top speed of 238 mph, surpassing most other cars on the market and leaving the Zonda in its dust.
Regarded as a masterpiece, the Pagani Huayra showcases meticulous craftsmanship. This particular model was specifically designed for the US market and was initially sent to British Motor Car Distributors in San Francisco, California. Subsequently, it joined the collection of the current owner in Illinois in 2016.
This 2014 Pagani Huayra being showcased features a clearcoat finish on exposed carbon fiber with striking orange stripes along the front and rear. Noteworthy design elements include iconic gullwing doors, wheels with staggered dimensions, carbon-ceramic brakes boasting gold-painted calipers, a front splitter, a diffuser, and quad bi-xenon headlights equipped with LED running lights.
The interior is adorned with tan leather-trimmed carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats, an aluminum shifter complemented by exposed linkage, tan leather headrest covers, power windows, automatic climate control, a Sonus Faber sound system, and a touchscreen infotainment system housed within a solid aluminum upper console panel.
This 2014 Pagani Huayra is just one of the 100 units ever made, and this specific car is numbered 71, having driven only 592 miles, making it a highly coveted contemporary collectible.
