The 2025 Ford Expedition full-size SUV has been revamped with a new platform, updated technology, and the introduction of a Tremor off-road variant, among other modifications. However, these enhancements come with a considerable increase in price.
The base Active trim starts at $63,695, reflecting a $6,070 rise from the starting price of the 2024 model. This figure includes a consistent $1,995 destination charge from the previous year. Standard features include a 24-inch panoramic display, a 13.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a new split tailgate for the 2025 Expedition.
Moving up the lineup, the Platinum trim is available for $76,425 and adds amenities such as Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free highway-driving system, memory-enabled power-adjustable pedals, and a 10-speaker B&O sound system.
Starting at $83,025 with destination charges, the Expedition Tremor comes equipped with standard four-wheel drive and an electronic locking rear differential, 33-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats featuring perforated leather upholstery, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and a power-reclining third row.
At the top of the lineup is the $85,650 King Ranch, which boasts distinctive features like 22-inch wheels and exclusive Southwestern-themed interior accents.
Alongside the standard-wheelbase model, Ford continues to offer the extended Expedition Max body style for nearly all trims except the Tremor, which adds an extra $3,000. The Expedition is designed with three rows of seating, accommodating either seven or eight passengers, depending on the choice of second-row captain’s chairs.
Powering the Expedition is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine that delivers either 400 hp (a 20 hp increase from the previous year) or 440 hp. A 10-speed automatic transmission is included across the board. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the Expedition Active, while a full-time four-wheel drive system is a complimentary option and comes standard on higher trims.
Manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky, the 2025 Ford Expedition is now available for order through Ford dealerships.
