The 2025 Kia Heart hatchback enters the new year with a $100 price increase from the 2024 Kia Heart and an innovative Soulmate Special Edition that brings more uniqueness to the budget-friendly eccentric car. The base 2025 Kia Heart LX is priced at $21,665, which includes a $1,375 destination fee, as announced by Kia on Friday.
Despite the slight price bump, the Heart remains one of the most budget-friendly new car options. It is priced similarly to the Kia Forte, being cheaper only than the $17,820 Nissan Versa and the soon-to-be discontinued Mitsubishi Mirage priced at $18,000.
Featuring limited power but abundant character, the 2025 Kia Heart continues with a 147 hp 2.0-liter inline-4 engine paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. It boasts an estimated 35 mpg combined. The standard driver-assist features include automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, lane-departure warnings, and every Heart comes with a reliable 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
The base LX model at $21,665 comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fabric upholstery, keyless entry, and power amenities. The Technology package upgrades to 16-inch wheels from 15-inch and adds blind-spot monitors along with active lane control.
Priced at $24,165, the 2025 Heart S adds a 10.3-inch touchscreen with wired smartphone connectivity, wireless smartphone charging, keyless start, improved fabric upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, two USB chargers, and 17-inch wheels. It also includes the Tech package with blind-spot monitors and active lane control.
The more dynamic aspects and black accents of the GT-Line are priced at $25,265. It features speaker lights, adjustable headrests, faux leather, and an optional Tech package with heated front seats, Harman Kardon audio, LED lighting, and adaptive cruise control.
