The revamped 2025 Cadillac Escalade enters the new year featuring new 24-inch wheels with a heightened $89,590 price tag, inclusive of the obligatory $1,995 destination charge, GM’s luxury arm announced on Wednesday. This represents a $5,700 rise over the base 2024 Escalade Luxury rear-wheel-drive variant. Adding four-wheel drive costs an additional $3,000 across the entire lineup, except for the top-tier V-Series variant, where it is included as standard for $161,990.
Modifications to the 2025 Escalade feature a more pronounced vertical facade with slim running light slits at each end that merge into a pronounced shoulder line stretching along the body. The interior adopts design traits introduced on the electric Escalade IQ, including a 55-inch curved glass panel that accommodates a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, and a touchscreen for the passenger. Additionally, there’s a climate control display located in the center console. Cadillac affirmed that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will remain as standard features.
Every Escalade is outfitted with a range of driver-assistance technologies, spanning from automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection to GM’s exceptional Super Cruise hands-free driving system.
Available options encompass an automatic driver’s door that opens upon approach, an AKG audio system boasting up to 40 speakers, and seats that offer massage functions.
The Escalade is powered by a 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission delivering power to the rear wheels. Cadillac has eliminated the turbodiesel 3.0-liter inline-6 that was merely a $100 upgrade last year. An air suspension along with magnetic dampers aims to enhance ride comfort on mid- and top-tier models.
The Premium Luxury variant is priced at $98,790, representing a $3,600 increase from the previous year. The aesthetic enhancements on the $99,390 Escalade Sport signify just a $1,200 rise compared to last year. The Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum is priced at $118,390, while the Sport Platinum incurs an additional $500.
