The manufacturer has lowered the starting price for the 2025 RZ by introducing a new entry-level trim, which is available for both the rear-wheel-drive RZ 300e and the all-wheel-drive RZ 450e. Additionally, prices for the existing Premium and Luxury trims of these models have been significantly reduced for the 2025 model year.

The new base model, the 2025 RZ 300e, starts at $43,975, which represents a decrease of $11,175 from the 2024 RZ’s entry-level trim, the RZ 300e Premium. The 2025 RZ 300e Premium is now priced at $48,175, reflecting a savings of $7,000 compared to the previous year. At the higher end is the RZ 300e Luxury, beginning at $53,905, also showing a $7,000 reduction from last year.
Budget-conscious buyers of the RZ 450e will find similar savings. The new base 2025 RZ 450e is priced at $48,675, down $11,175 from the previous model year’s starting point with the RZ 450e Premium. Furthermore, the 2025 RZ 450e Premium starts at $52,875, while the 2025 RZ 450e Luxury has a starting price of $58,605, both providing a savings of $6,975 compared to last year.
The RZ is built on the same e-TNGA platform utilized in the Toyota BZ4X and the Subaru Solterra. The RZ 300e is equipped with a slightly larger 72.8 kWh battery compared to the RZ 450e’s 71.4 kWh battery, and it features a single front motor generating 201 hp, leading to the highest EPA range estimates. For 2024, the maximum EPA estimates are 266 miles for the RZ 300e and 220 miles for the RZ 450e, with similar figures expected for the 2025 models.
The RZ 450e compensates for its lower range by offering enhanced performance with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system that provides a peak output of 308 hp, allowing acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just five seconds.
Even with the introduction of new base variants, Lexus maintains standard features such as 18-inch wheels, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a suite of electronic driver-assist technologies. More detailed specifications will be revealed closer to the anticipated market launch later this year.
The RZ is manufactured in a facility located in Japan. All listed prices include destination charges.
