The aging Lexus LS luxury sedan is set to experience yet another price hike for the 2025 model year, though significant changes are not on the horizon.
The entry-level non-hybrid LS 500 version starts at $81,685, which includes a destination fee of $1,350. This reflects a $1,000 increase compared to the 2024 model year, which had already seen a rise of $3,100 from 2023, bringing that price to $80,685.
The LS 500 is equipped with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that generates 416 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, enabling this sizable sedan to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds, as per Lexus’s claims. It features a standard 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, while an all-wheel-drive option with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential is available for an additional $3,250.
The 2025 Lexus LS 500 F Sport continues to prioritize comfort over sportiness, featuring enhancements such as a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, a panoramic camera system, and aluminum interior accents. The vehicle also sports 20-inch wheels and a unique version of the polarizing Lexus spindle grille. The price for this model stands at $85,825, with all-wheel drive adding just $2,450, the same as the previous year.
A hybrid version, the LS 500h, starts at $116,560, including destination fees. This hybrid combines a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with two electric motors, achieving a combined output of 354 hp. All-wheel drive is standard, along with the Lexus Teammate system, which permits several minutes of hands-free driving on designated highways and supports parking functions.
The 2025 Lexus LS will be available at dealerships later this year, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the LS, which played a crucial role in establishing the Lexus brand during the late 1980s. Although the current iteration of Lexus’ flagship sedan was introduced in the 2018 model year, it has undergone several updates since its launch.
