Confirmation of the Next-Generation ICE Cadillac CT5 to be produced at the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant.
Cadillac announced today that, following six successful years, the current iterations of the CT4 and CT5 will be phased out after the 2026 model year. The CT4 will be produced until June 2026, while the CT5 will remain available until the end of that year.
These models have consistently exceeded expectations, blending remarkable performance with advanced technology and unmatched craftsmanship, earning numerous accolades within the luxury vehicle sector. This success has solidified strong demand, securing Cadillac’s esteemed legacy for future generations.
I am excited to confirm that the CT5’s legacy will endure through the arrival of a next-generation internal combustion engine (ICE) model in a forthcoming model year. The new CT5 will be assembled at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly plant and will be available for purchase in both the United States and Canada. More information will be shared as development progresses.
Cadillac is strategically positioned to evolve its lineup in response to customer preferences, providing a blend of luxury and choice, exemplifying the brand’s flexibility.
We appreciate your enthusiasm and loyalty to the Cadillac brand. Look forward to future updates filled with exciting details about the next-generation CT5 and its features!

The Cadillac CT sedans are among the few luxury vehicles still available with a manual transmission, making them particularly significant to automotive enthusiasts. If you’re considering getting behind the wheel of a Blackwing variant, now might be the ideal time to act. Given the trajectory of Cadillac’s lineup, future offerings of V8-powered sedans may be limited, with the upcoming models possibly being the last of their kind.
