During 1973, Ferrari unveiled the mid-engine flat-12 Berlinetta Boxer as a successor to the front-engine V-12 Daytona. This model transformed into the 512 BB during the period from 1976 to 1981, with around 930 units being manufactured in Maranello, Italy.
Similar to various luxury automobiles, the 512BB underwent modifications by Koenig Specials in Munich, resulting in unique characteristics like a prominent front splitter, integrated wing mirrors, striking side skirts, broad flared fenders concealing larger BBS rims, air intakes, and a bold rear spoiler.
