The revamped 2025 Nissan Armada full-size SUV is priced at $1,185 more than its predecessor, the 2024 model. However, this increase includes significant upgrades such as a new exterior, a redesigned frame, an updated engine, a more spacious interior, and advanced technologies. Now, the eight-passenger SUV is available for $58,530, which includes a $2,010 destination fee, as announced by Nissan on Monday.
Positioned as the most cost-effective option in the full-size SUV segment, the latest Armada is priced at least $2,000 lower than the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and almost $6,000 less than the 2025 Toyota Sequoia.
Nissan ensures that the 2025 Armada is well-equipped with features. The base SV model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, black running boards, and roof rails that enhance its boxy, retro-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of the global Nissan Patrol. Inside, synthetic leather upholstery adorns the eight seats, while power-adjustable front seats face a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel alongside a 12.3-inch touchscreen that supports wireless smartphone connectivity. Every Armada also includes adaptive cruise control and blind-spot indicators.
Luxury features are available as options, including massaging front seats, quilted leather upholstery, and an air suspension with adaptive dampers, pushing into the premium realm that the 2025 Infiniti QX80 occupies, starting at $85,000, which surpasses the price of the top-tier Armada Platinum Reserve 4×4.
Similar to the luxury variant, all Armadas forego the previous 400-hp V-8 engine in favor of a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 425 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The power is managed by a 9-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels, with optional four-wheel drive featuring a 2-speed transfer case available for $3,000 on all models except the new Pro-4X, where it comes standard. Despite the absence of the V-8, the towing capacity remains unchanged at an impressive 8,500 pounds, and a hitch and harness are standard equipment.

While Nissan has phased out the Titan full-size pickup truck, the Armada continues to utilize body-on-frame construction. The new chassis enhances lateral stiffness and torsional rigidity, and combined with an independent suspension at both the front and rear, it aims to deliver a ride quality resembling that of a contemporary SUV rather than a traditional truck. Additionally, an acoustic laminated front windshield helps reduce external noise.
The revamped frame and expanded dimensions result in increased interior space, accommodating eight passengers comfortably across all three rows.
The Armada SL is priced at $64,980, offering heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Alexa integration, a wireless smartphone charging pad, a surround-view camera, one-touch second-row seats, power-folding third-row seats, a Klipsch 12-speaker audio setup, and Nissan’s limited hands-free driving technology, all riding on 20-inch wheels.
At $71,940, the 2025 Armada Platinum features a 14.3-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, heated side mirrors, a power-operated tailgate, quilted leather trimming, cooled front seats, and second-row captain’s chairs that reduce capacity to seven passengers.
The Pro-4X variant, priced at $75,750, enhances off-road capability with features such as underbody skid plates, an electronically locking rear differential, adaptive dampers with electronic air suspension, improved approach angles, front tow hooks, and 20-inch wheels fitted with all-terrain tires. It shares the SL’s standard equipment.
The top-tier model, Platinum Reserve, retails for $79,000 and includes features like massaging seats and heated captain’s chairs, along with 22-inch wheels.
Manufactured in Japan, the 2025 Armada is set to be available for purchase in December.
