Commencing at $25,965, the slightly updated 2025 Kia Seltos crossover SUV is now available. Interestingly, this initial cost pertains to an all-wheel drive variant, even though front-wheel drive editions are also part of the selection.

The starting price (inclusive of a mandatory $1,375 destination fee) is applicable to the LX trim, which is exclusively offered with all-wheel drive. Kia also provides S and EX trims with front-wheel drive priced at $26,465 and $27,465, correspondingly. This positions the compact crossover at a minimum of $3,000 higher than a comparably equipped Chevrolet Trax, although all-wheel-drive variants match up to the AWD Subaru Crosstrek.

Additionally, the Seltos S and EX versions are accessible with all-wheel drive as well. There is a supplemental cost of $1,500 for the S trim and $2,200 for the EX trim for all-wheel drive options, resulting in prices of $27,965 for an all-wheel drive S and $29,665 for an all-wheel drive EX. The lineup is completed by X-Line ($30,665) and SX ($32,465) variants, which are exclusively obtainable with all-wheel drive.

Subsequent to a mid-cycle enhancement for the 2024 model year, Kia has implemented several minor modifications for 2025, including what the automaker claims are enhanced interior materials and finishes, along with alterations to feature content.

EX and SX grades now come equipped with standard reverse park distance warning, alongside a smart power tailgate that is included in all-wheel-drive variations of those models. S variants now feature auto up/down driver windows, a 4.3-inch TFT display, and 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, while a package for a power sunroof is made accessible for the EX trim.

There have been no changes to the powertrain alternatives. The LX, S, and EX grades come with a standard Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which delivers 146 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, SX and X-Line models are equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo-4 engine producing 195 hp and 195 lb-ft. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission.
