This week, Stellantis revealed the pricing details for the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The midsize SUV enters the new model year without any changes, though some variants are priced slightly lower than their 2024 counterparts.
The Laredo 4WD models have received a $1,000 price reduction, while the base Laredo with rear-wheel drive sees a modest increase in price to $38,830, which includes the $1,795 destination charge. The trim levels above Laredo include Limited ($44,700), Overland ($58,790), and Summit ($60,355). Four-wheel drive is an additional $2,000 for the Laredo and Limited trims, whereas it comes standard on both Overland and Summit models.
The three-row Grand Cherokee L remains available, offered in the same range of trims, and is priced $2,000 higher than the corresponding two-row variants.
Both the two-row Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee L are equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, delivering 293 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The optional mechanical four-wheel drive system provides the Grand Cherokee with superior off-road capabilities compared to most rivals. A 5.7-liter V-8 engine was available previously, but it was quietly removed from the lineup towards the conclusion of the 2024 model year.
For those seeking additional power, the Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid is the alternative. It pairs a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine with a two-motor hybrid system to generate 370 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, all with standard four-wheel drive. Jeep does not offer the 4xe in the base Laredo trim, and the least expensive Limited 4xe is priced at $62,285 including destination, which is $15,585 more than the non-hybrid Limited 2-row equipped with four-wheel drive.
There is no Grand Cherokee L 4xe available, but the Trailhawk off-road variant is exclusive to the plug-in hybrid, with a price tag of $67,980. The Overland and Summit trims for the 4xe are also available, priced at $75,275 and $76,465 respectively.
The present Jeep Grand Cherokee, referred to as the WL series, was first launched in three-row L form for the 2021 model year, followed by the two-row version in 2022. A mid-cycle update is anticipated for the 2026 model year, which may incorporate the Hurricane turbo-6 already utilized in the larger Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, as well as the Ram 1500 pickup truck.
