The 2025 Hyundai Elantra enters the new year with minimal alterations aside from an adjusted pricing framework, Hyundai announced on Tuesday. Most significantly, it reverts the price increase from the updated 2024 Elantra Hybrid Blue base model, while also removing some of its features and making them optional.

    2025 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Pricing

    • The base Elantra Blue is priced at $26,250, but it offers fewer standard features compared to last year.
    • The new SEL Sport variant costs $28,225 and incorporates some sporty design elements.
    • At the top of the Elantra Hybrid range is the $30,600 Limited.

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra Blue hybrid has a price tag of $26,250 (all prices include the unavoidable $1,150 destination and delivery fee). That’s a reduction of $1,150 compared to last year’s model, though it also reduces the standard features. The previous 10.3-inch digital instrument panel and 10.3-inch touchscreen have been substituted with a smaller display nestled between the analog gauges and an 8.0-inch touchscreen. However, this change might be beneficial since it now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The vehicle retains the same 54 mpg combined efficiency from its 1.6-liter inline-4 engine. When combined with an electric motor powered by a 1.3-kwh lithium-ion battery, the total power output is 139 hp. It solely features front-wheel drive and utilizes a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

This is the second-most fuel-efficient gasoline vehicle available, just behind the 2024 Toyota Prius with its 57 mpg combined rating (54 mpg with all-wheel drive). The Kia Niro follows closely in third place at 53 mpg.

Hyundai has also introduced a new mid-tier option between the previous base Blue and the top Elantra Hybrid Limited. The $28,225 Hybrid SEL Sport comes with 17-inch alloy wheels that may reduce efficiency by 1-2 mpg, black exterior details, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, and options such as the 10.3-inch instrument panel and 10.3-inch touchscreen.

These enhancements are included in the top Limited version, which costs $30,600. This variant also features a power driver’s seat, heated and ventilated front seats, synthetic leather interior, adaptive cruise control that resumes after a stop, and a Bose audio system.

All Elantra models are equipped with automatic emergency braking that includes pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, active lane assist, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights.

    2025 Hyundai Elantra Pricing

    • The Elantra SE is priced at $23,025, reflecting a $250 increase from 2024.
    • The Elantra N Line has a cost of $29,875, representing a $280 rise.
    • The $26,725 Elantra SEL Convenience has now become a distinct trim.
    • The Elantra N automatic is the highest-priced at $36,600.

The standard Elantra range experiences slight price hikes of $250-$280, depending on the trim level for 2025. The SE, SEL, new SEL Convenience, and Limited trims feature a 147-hp 2.0-liter inline-4 engine paired with a CVT that channels power to the front wheels.

The $22,775 SE model rides on petite 15-inch wheels and is equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen that boasts wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry, four USB-C ports, and fabric seating. It ranks among the few most affordable cars for 2025 priced below $25,000.

The $24,150 SEL Sport encompasses the same features as the Hybrid variant, excluding the powertrain, while the new SEL Convenience trim, which was a package option last year, now adds heated side mirrors, heated front seats, a sunroof, adaptive cruise control, a 60:40-split folding rear seat, and the larger instrument panel and touchscreen, though smartphone connectivity requires a wired connection. This model costs $26,725.

The Limited is priced at $27,675 and mirrors the features of the Hybrid Limited.

The 2025 Elantra N Line, priced at $29,875, features a 207-hp 1.6-liter turbo-4 engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is built on 18-inch alloy wheels and includes larger 12.0-inch front brakes, as well as a multi-link rear suspension designed for enhanced handling compared to the torsion beam found on other models. It sports chrome exhaust tips, a distinctive black grille and bumper, a black rear diffuser, and black window accents. This variant includes most of the features found in the Limited and serves as an appealing introduction to the Elantra N sport sedan.

The Elantra N is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo-4 producing 276 hp and 289 lb-ft, delivering a 0-60 mph sprint in the low five-second range. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or, for an additional $1,500, an 8-speed dual-clutch option, priced at $35,100 and $36,600, respectively.
