Honda has rejuvenated the Odyssey MPV for the year 2025 with adjusted design and modernized technology. The 2025 Honda Odyssey EX-L is priced at $43,315, which represents an increase of $3,680 compared to the previous year. The revised 2025 Honda Odyssey is the singular MPV option without a hybrid powertrain offering
The 2025 Honda Odyssey will make its way to dealerships towards the end of this month with enhanced technological features, subtle modifications in design, and a price hike of $3,680 primarily due to the discontinuation of the older EX base model. The EX-L is now positioned as the most affordable Odyssey trim level and is priced at $43,315 inclusive of the mandatory $1,395 destination charge, as per Honda’s announcement on Monday. This price is $610 higher than the equivalent model from 2024.
For the year 2025, Honda’s MPV has received a fresh grille, a revised front fascia featuring larger black fog light surrounds, and a modernized rear fascia adorned with noticeable vertical reflectors inspired by the phased-out Acura NSX. This marks the initial design update for the Odyssey since the 2021 model year, contributing to a revamp of a vehicle that was last redesigned for the 2018 model year.
Every trim level now showcases new wheel patterns, including machine-polished 19-inch wheels for the premium Elite trim level. Additionally, new paint options introduced are Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl.
Internally, the MPV now features a novel 7.0-inch cluster of instruments combining a digital display on the left and an analog speedometer on the right. The digital side predominantly shows a tachometer but has the capability to display vehicle information and settings related to the driver-assist features of the Odyssey.
An upgraded standard 9.0-inch touchscreen replaces the previous 8.0-inch unit with standard wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and wireless charging for smartphones. The optional rear-seat entertainment system comprises a larger 12.8-inch screen, while the console now accommodates the HDMI plug and a specific compartment for device storage.
Despite the 2025 Kia Carnival offering a hybrid powertrain choice alongside the fully hybrid Toyota Sienna and the Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid variant, Honda has opted to retain the 3.5-liter V6 as the single powertrain option, transmitting power to the front wheels through a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The power output remains unchanged at 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, with an EPA-rated combined fuel efficiency of 22 mpg (city: 19 mpg, highway: 28 mpg).
A step above the EX-L base model, the Odyssey Sport-L variant includes darkened exterior accents and black leather seats with red contrast stitching for a total of $44,465 including destination charges. The Touring model starts from $48,005 and provides additional features such as front and rear parking sensors, in-built navigation, the rear-seat entertainment system, and third-row USB-C ports.
The top-tier Elite grade is priced at $52,275 and boasts two-tone perforated leather seats, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, enhanced audio system, rain-sensing wipers, a hands-free powered tailgate, and auto-dimming external mirrors.
