The price of the 2025 Honda CR-V has been raised by $600 compared to the base model from last year.
For the 2025 CR-V Sport hybrid version, the price is set at $35,700.
The more advanced CR-V hybrid model costs approximately $6,000 more than the Kia Sportage hybrid.
Looking at the 2025 Honda CR-V model, it retains most of its features from the previous year, with the exception of a price hike ranging from $300 to $600 compared to the 2024 version. After its redesign in 2023, the Honda CR-V, which is considered one of the most popular compact crossovers in the market, now starts at $31,450. All prices mentioned include a destination fee of $1,350.
The CR-V LX, EX, and EX-L are equipped with a 190-hp 1.5-liter turbo-4 engine paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. Its EPA rating stands at 28 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined. Opting for AWD reduces fuel efficiency by 1 mpg but comes at an additional cost of $1,500 across all CR-V models, including hybrids.
The base LX trim includes standard safety features such as automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and active lane control. Other features consist of 17-inch wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, keyless start, and LED headlights.
Priced at $33,700, the EX variant ($340 more than the previous year) comes with features like blind-spot monitors, a sunroof, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, and more stylish 18-inch wheels.
For $36,350, the EX-L upgrade offers a 9.0-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity with a wireless charger, and an eight-speaker audio system.
Details on the 2025 Honda CR-V Sport hybrid models:
The Sport hybrid models have seen a $300 price increase, excluding the top Sport Touring model, which now tops the range at $42,150 after a $600 increase. Of note, the Sport hybrids feature a more powerful 204-hp 2.0-liter inline-4 engine paired with two electric motors. These models achieve 43/36/40 mpg or 40/34/37 mpg with AWD.
Priced at $35,700, the CR-V Sport hybrid offers a sportier driving experience and appearance. It includes blacked-out trim pieces, black 18-inch wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, building upon the features of the EX trim stated previously. The hybrid model comes at an additional cost of $2,000 compared to the EX variant.
Honda reports that the CR-V Sport hybrid range accounts for over 50% of the CR-V sales. While the 2025 CR-V Sport boasts superior features compared to its rivals, it is priced nearly $6,000 higher than the 2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid with front-wheel drive. Opting for AWD on the CR-V Sport raises the price to $37,200, whereas the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid with AWD starts at $33,075.
The Sport-L model, which sits between the base Sport and the fully-loaded Touring, is priced at $38,700 and includes upgrades such as leather upholstery, a power passenger seat, a power tailgate, and a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and a wireless charger.
Priced at $42,150, the Sport Touring Hybrid features AWD as standard and adds 19-inch wheels, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, navigation, and a wifi hotspot.
