The 2025 Honda Accord sedan enters the new year with a minimum increase of $400 and a new SE trim that substitutes the EX level from the 2024 Accord, Honda disclosed on Monday. The foundational LX is priced at $29,390, while the base hybrid, the Accord Sport, now retails for $34,750, reflecting a $760 rise from 2024.

The 2025 Accord is now at least $1,000 more expensive compared to when it was revamped for the 2023 model year. Enhancements for 2025 include rear-seat ventilation and two USB-C ports.

The base LX and new SE leverage a 192-hp 1.5-liter turbo-4 coupled with a CVT that emulates sending power to the front wheels. Fuel efficiency reaches 32 mpg combined. Every Accord is outfitted with automatic emergency braking that includes pedestrian detection, active lane assistance, blind-spot alerts, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.

The $29,390 LX is relatively basic, featuring a 10.2-inch digital gauge display, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as cloth seats. Similar to Toyota, Honda offers a fundamental 3-year/36,000-mile warranty with an additional two years or 24,000 miles of scheduled maintenance. The LX is mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The new SE is priced at $31,655 and includes black 17-inch wheels, black exterior trim components, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a sunroof, and a power-adjustable driver seat. It costs about $600 more than the 2024 Accord EX and encompasses most of the same features alongside its black trim additions.

    2025 Honda Accord Hybrid

Many buyers in 2024 opted for the Accord Hybrid, and for valid reasons.

This two-motor hybrid configuration pairs a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine to produce 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. Sport, Sport-L, and Touring trims of the Accord Hybrid are rated by the EPA at 46 mpg city, 41 highway, and 44 combined. The EX-L Hybrid reduces wheel size from 19 inches to 17 inches, enhancing efficiency to 51/44/48 mpg.

This performance exceeds that of the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with its 47-mpg combined rating, yet it cannot surpass the segment-leading 2025 Toyota Camry and its 51-mpg combined figure.

The 2025 Honda Accord Sport commences the hybrid series at $34,750. It is our suggested purchase, featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration and charging, heated front seats, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The more fuel-efficient EX-L reverts to the smaller wheels to reach its 48-mpg rating. This version costs $36,035 and includes leather seats and parking sensors. The $36,470 Sport-L consists of black trim details and a rear diffuser while also incorporating a power front passenger seat.

The Touring hybrid caps the lineup at $40,985, boasting a Google built-in infotainment system featuring a 3-year data plan, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a wireless smartphone charger, a wifi hotspot, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and a 6.0-inch head-up display.

Manufactured in Ohio, the 2025 Honda Accord is available for purchase now.
