Chevrolet announced on Friday that it has reduced the price while enhancing the range and power of the 2025 Blazer EV. The new base model is a front-wheel drive option priced at $45,995, which includes a $1,395 destination fee.

Moreover, all 2025 Blazer EV models are eligible for a $7,500 tax credit available at the time of purchase.

This model was previously promised but not delivered upon the Blazer EV’s launch last year. The single-motor version produces 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, although its range has yet to be certified by the EPA. Chevrolet indicated that it will soon be available for ordering.

Previously, the 2024 Blazer EV’s base model was the 2LT with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration. The 2025 Blazer EV AWD LT is priced at $48,995, which is $1,200 less than last year’s 2LT.

The range has been extended by 4 miles to a total of 283 miles, while system output has risen to 300 hp and 355 lb-ft, up from 288 hp and 333 lb-ft.

This makes the 2025 Blazer EV more affordable compared to several major competitors. For instance, a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E with all-wheel drive and a range of 300 miles retails for $50,895, while the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE with AWD and a 260-mile range is priced at $50,745. The Volkswagen ID.4 Pro AWD is available for $50,180 and offers a 263-mile range.

The higher-end RS RWD and top-tier SS AWD models come equipped with a larger 102-kwh battery pack, while the other Blazer EV variants utilize an 85-kwh pack. The RS RWD leads the range with 334 miles (up from 324 miles) and features an output of 365 hp (an increase from 340 hp) and 325 lb-ft of torque.

Set to be available early next year, the 2025 Blazer EV SS AWD will be priced at $61,995 and will deliver 595 hp and 645 lb-ft in its Wide Open Watts performance mode, though its range has yet to be confirmed.
